LoganTW08$ Discussion starter bike 1 is a 03 Honda Shadow 750, bike 2 is a 07 Shadow 750. I’m a pretty big guy at 6 foot 270 pounds. Is the 750 a good bike
Was highly considering a Shadow, since I've heard great things about them, and I know that at least Honda's cars are the AK-47's of automobile reliability and durability. Are Shadows a good starter bike for someone that just wants to cruise, and learn about basic motorcycle repair in the process?
when it comes to Cruisers you can go bigger, a 750 Shadow (Honda) a Suzuki C50 (805cc) basically any of the mid sized cruisers will be fine for starting out with, the one thing you have to watch for on these bikes though is the weight, most are around #400 lbs. (they only feel like that at low speeds though) as long as you can handle the weight
2001 Honda Shadow 750 Spirit. Considering this as a first bike. A guy I work with is selling his. It's a 2001 Honda Shadow 750 Spirit with 8,500. It has a windscreen and saddle bags. He says all it needs is an oil change, he hasn't done it only because he bought a new bike. He wants $2,000 for it.
The Spirit of 750. The Honda Shadow was introduced in 1983 with two options. a good look that represents a more modern appeal. Check out more new bikes in Rider‘s 2024 Motorcycle Buyers
